[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide transcription services.
- Provide transcription services to support law enforcement investigations and cases being prosecuted by the office of the district attorney.
- Prosecutes criminal cases, transcripts may be requested for events such as 911 calls, investigative interviews with witnesses, victims, and suspects, arrest and forensic interviews, superior court hearings and recordings of law enforcement activities as needed.
- The files to be transcribed may also require translation from a different language into English.
- Transcription and potential translation services from other languages into English from audio recordings.
- Proposer must be able to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, licenses, permits, transportation, equipment, website, and every other item of expense necessary to provide verbatim transcription services for the district attorney as requested.
- If AI is proposed, proposer should indicate additional features included with an electronic version of transcriptions, including time labels, ability to add comments, search features, edit features, identification of key words, speaker identification, ability to follow the speaker if recording is difficult to hear
- Proposer must include a section in their proposal that explains the workflow of file transcription from the step of submitting the transcription request to the step at which the transcribed file is provided
back to the district attorney.
- This website or system should also confirm file receipt from the district attorney staff and an email
notification when the file is completed and ready for retrieval
- Proposer must describe how transcripts will be provided in a manner that allows the district attorney
to download and print the transcript.
- The website must be password protected and the proposer must be able to demonstrate file
transmissions, including source files, are electronically secure and describe the method of encryption.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 23, 2023.
(3) The contract period will be for three years.
