Vendor needs to provide transcription services
- assist with the transcription of case report narratives generated in the field, interviews from Professional Standards and interviews of victims, witnesses, and suspects in an interview / interrogation format
- implementation process require any downtime for the Fusion Digital Voice Recording System
- Clear delineation of activities separated by Planning, Requirements, Configuration, Testing, Launch Preparation, Implementation and Post Implementation Support.
- Major milestones for implementing the new solution
- A secure, web-based system for file transfer from the Police Department to the Vendor and then from the Vendor back to the Police Department
-The system must be able to create user accounts and provide user IDs and passwords which individual users will use to gain access to a secure system environment
- The ability to accept .wav files for transcription. (Fusion DVR system export format)
- The vendor must have the capability to process transcription from non-digital media sources such as – audio CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes, micro-cassette tapes, etc.
- The ability to retrieve transcribed documents from the solutions server for at least sixty (60) days after completion of transcription
- The completed transcription must be in Microsoft Word .doc format. Should require no conversion to the .doc format.
