[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide real time captioning services in english for deaf or hearing-impaired incarcerated persons (IPs) who do not use sign language, to allow them to view captions instantly.
- The contractor shall provide these services both at pre-hearing proceedings including, but not limited to, consultations, forensic assessment division interviews and attorney-client interviews, as well as at hearings including, but not limited to, parole consideration hearings, parole reconsideration hearings, rescission hearings, and offender with mental health disorder hearings.
- The Contractor shall certify, in the bid, the ability to provide real-time captioning services in english, both remote and in-person, using microsoft teams and cisco video conferencing with captioners.
- The Contractor shall bid on a normal hourly rate for captioner assignments that last up to 8 hours, not including any lunch period.
- The captioners shall be punctual and take into consideration the approximate time required for parking, security screening and escort to the hearing room at State prison facilities.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 10, 2023.
