[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide captioning support service for Fall 2023 through Summer 2028 semesters.
- ASL interpreters to provide captioning needs of students as needed from Fall 2023 through Summer 2028 semesters.
- All Captioners assigned to WCU must possess and maintain at all times at least the certified Realtime captioner (CRC®) credential through the national court reporter’s association.
- All Captioners assigned to WCU must be trained in and familiar with Deaf culture and working specifically with deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a higher education setting. (Work with students with Auditory Processing Disorder as well is preferred).
- Recurring assignments, such as classes, should not be subcontracted out. The successful bidder must have the ability to provide CART services in-house.
- Captioners must be available within 24 hours’ notice.
- Captioning to be provided through a combination of connections and differently depending on the medium in which it’s offered.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 29, 2023
(3) The contract period will be for five years.
