[*] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide court reporting and transcription service.
 - The transcript must be in clear and legible 14-point type 8-1/2 x 11 inches in size, with numbered lines. The transcript must be double-spaced. Each page may contain no more than 25 lines, with margins of one inch on each side, at the top and at the bottom, and no more than two inches at the left without obscuring the line numbers. Full lines of text should be approximately 6 inches.
Paragraph indentations may not exceed 3/4 inch.
- Each page of the transcript must be consecutively numbered at the top right corner. The name of the witness followed by a notation indicating whether the testimony is on direct, cross, redirect, or recross examination, indicated by “D,” “X,” “ReD,” or “ReX,” respectively, must be to the left of the page number.
- The paper original transcript pages and copy pages of the transcript must be printed one-sided, on good quality unglazed paper and must be bound at the left, wired, three-hole punched with prongs, or firmly stapled at four equidistant places, within 3/8 inch of the left edge. The transcript must have a cover sheet of clear plastic or 65-pound weight paper, front and back. If a transcript exceeds 200 pages, it must be bound into volumes of approximately equal size of not more than 200 pages each. The cover page of each volume must be numbered consecutively.
- Transcript pagination, whether hard copy or electronic, must all be the same. This is achieved by converting transcripts to PDF format prior to printing. If a PDF file contains more than one proceeding date, the beginning of each proceeding date must be bookmarked. If a transcript exceeds 450 pages, it must be submitted in volumes of approximately equal size (and not more than 450 pages each).
