[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide closed captioning services for the cable TV division.
- A closed-captioning provider to create FCC and ADA-compliant captions for video programming produced by the City
- Estimate 175 Hours of video content to be captioned in a one-year period.
- Captioning approximately 175 hours of video with a 24-hour turnaround timeframe.
- A service that also allows for use of 12, 24, and 48-hour turnaround times. Therefore, please include the price-per-minute captioning rates for 12-hour, 24-hour, and 48-hour turnaround times. Flexibility to use these differing turnaround times according to a project's needs is highly preferred.
- The ability to submit video content for captioning via YouTube link is required.
- A reliable mechanism for us to use in reviewing, modifying, and exporting captions is also required. Strong customer service and support will be an important factor in our decision-making process as we receive and review proposals from providers.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than June 15, 2023.
(3) The contract period will be for three years.
