[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide report transcription services for Deputy report transcriptions and Coroner medical report transcription Services.
- Deputy Report Transcription Services - Sheriff houses 38 divisions including patrol stations, corrections facilities, court services, and specialized divisions, resulting in approximately 107,000 reports per year, of which 79,000 contain a written narrative. County-wide criminal and civil reports are documented in digital media format; Deputies, and other authorized users (Department Users), verbally dictate report narratives into department-issued digital audio recorders and submit the audio dictations via a Secure File Transfer Protocol (STFP), or a secure website (HTTPS), where the audio is transcribed and returned to the Deputy for use.
- Coroner Medical Transcription Service - Sheriff’s Coroner Division (Coroner), currently performs approximately 2,699 autopsies per year. Department Users currently verbally dictate autopsy report narratives into Sheriff issued digital audio recorders and submit the audio dictations via a STFP or HTTPS made available by the Contractor. The Contractor then transcribes the report and provides Department Users with a downloadable completed transcription. Sheriff is seeking medical transcription services to assist Coroner on an as needed basis and during high-volume timeframes including, but not limited to, staffing shortages, high profile operations, and mass casualty incidents.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than June 7, 2023.
(3) A contract term will be for three years.
