[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide transcription services.
- Transcription services will be requested on a case-by-case basis.
- Cost will be presented per minute or per word (whichever is less) of recorded statement
time.
- All transcriptions must be verbatim.
- When requested, urgent transcriptions will be received within one calendar day of
the initial request.
- If urgent requests will incur a higher fee, please indicate as such in the separate line item on the attached price form.
- Recordings may consist of the following:
a. One investigator and one interviewee in an interview room.
b. Two investigators and one interviewee in an interview room.
c. One investigator and one interviewee with extraneous background noise.
d. Two investigators and one interviewee with extraneous background noise.
e. Recorded telephone conversations.
f. Videos
- Audio files will be submitted in common file formats.
- Transcriptions will display numbered lines and numbered pages.
- The required format for the cover page of transcriptions will be provided to the
successful bidder.
- Transcriptions must maintain a rate of 97% accuracy, and will be used in court.
- The successful bidder will be required to complete a confidentiality agreement. The
content of audio files and resulting transcriptions are considered confidential.
- Subject matter and content of audio files may be disturbing to employees unfamiliar with
crimes, suspects, and victims.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than May 11, 2023.
(3) Contract period will be for one year.
