[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide court reporter and transcripts services to prepare and submit bids for consideration by the agency to satisfy its need for court reporter services throughout the state.
- Contractor will submit electronic documents in searchable PDF format only. Submittal must be by secure download via the BIIA website.
- Transcript must contain a signed certificate page.  
- All Contractors shall maintain an effective anti-virus program on all computers that create and/or store electronic documents intended to be submitted to BIIA.
- Unreadable or infected electronic and digital transcripts must be resubmitted within three (3) working days after notification of the problem by the BIIA.  
- Twenty-five typed lines per 8 1/2 x 11-inch standard page size.
- No fewer than nine and no more than ten characters per inch of text.
- No fewer than fifty-four and no more than sixty characters per standard line of text.
- Transcripts will be submitted in a Courier 12-point font. Margins will be 1.5 inches at the top, 1.5 inches at the bottom, 1 inch for left margin and 0.75 inches for right margin.
- Footers that indicate the speaker and process in the proceeding (Opening Statement-August 13, 2015), at the bottom of each page are required. The footers must change according to change in speaker and process.
- Line numbers must print along the left margin of each page. Headers, Footers and page numbers will not have line numbers along the left margin.
- Transcripts will have line with left, right and center aligned material.
- Transcripts will have both single and double-spaced lines of some pages.
- Transcripts must be printable in 100% of their font specification. The BIIA will not accept condensed printing of transcript.
- Transcripts must have page numbers at the bottom of the page, right aligned with the right margin.
(2) The contract period will be for two years.
(3) Pre-bid meeting will be held on October 17, 2022
