[*] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide transcribe and redact certain records service
- There is currently a short-term, specific requirement relating to the transcription and redaction of certain records, as permitted by legislation
- Holds approximately 50 audio files which require transcription and redaction of personal data
- Transcribe these audio records and redact all relevant personal data from the transcribed records
- Transcription of approximately 50 audio files containing personal data. Following a random sampling exercise, the files would appear to be approximately 1hr10 in length on average, and are in format.
- The secure and irreversible redaction of all relevant personal data from the transcribed records.
- Liaison with the Departmental unit in relation to the work to be progressed, including consultation on what qualifies as relevant personal data.
- Liaison with Departmental unit in relation to completion of quality control protocols.
- Service to be delivered on-site given the sensitive and confidential nature of the data involved.
- Service to be delivered using Departmental hardware.
- To provide details of the technology it intends to use to deliver the transcription and redaction service, in addition to details of personnel who will be involved. Details of all steps of processing of the data in order to complete the project to be outlined in the tender response.
- Provide clear and appropriate assurances and clarifications required by the Department in relation to maintaining the integrity of the audio recordings when transcribing the contents and the accurate and full delivery of both the transcription service and the redaction service.
