[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide web-based transcription service on an as-needed basis.
- Contractor must provide a secure website for electronic transcription order placement, the uploading of digital audio files, and the downloading of completed transcripts.
- Contractor’s system must provide the County the ability to search through past and pending order requests and offer a centralized solution to manage transcription services.
- Contractor must have the ability to support all recorded media submissions electronically via an online order center through the Contractor’s website.
- County users must have the ability to attach digital audio recordings directly to the corresponding order(s) when submitting a transcription order request through the Contractor’s website.
- Supported Media Formats
a. Contractor must support the following audio and video formats:
(1) Digital Audio: .dss, .dvf, .mp3, .ra, .wav, .wma, .mp4
(2) Digital Video: .wmv, .rm, .mpeg
(3) Analog Audio: standard audio cassette, micro audio cassette, audio CD (.cda)
(4) Analog Video, standard VHS video cassette, DVD video
- Analog Media Conversion
- Contractor must convert all analog audio/video recordings to a standard digital format before they can be transcribed.
- Transcription work containing errors identified by the County may be returned to Contractor for immediate correction. Corrections to all transcripts must be made free of charge.
- Contractor must use a secure web site encryption for electronic transcription order placement, uploading of files and downloading of completed files.

- Onshore (USA Organization Only);

[D] Work Performance:

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
