[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide transcription and translation services for a company to transcribe and/or translate audio recordings of various lengths to and from foreign languages into English and transcribe English to English recordings,
- The audio recordings which can range in sound quality from poor to excellent are recorded by various law enforcement agencies and can consist of interviews or conversations between two or more participants,
- The audio recordings will be used as evidence in pending criminal cases and need to be kept confidential at all times,
- To provide translation/transcription services to the opposing counsel or parties to the same case for which they have provided services,
- All transcriptions must be customized to meet the County requestor’s format using Microsoft Word,
- To provide a stacked transcription of foreign language translated work in the following format with the source language on top and the English translation underneath in bold,
- For translation of documents (not including audio/video transcription) requests will be determined on an as needed basis,
- Ready access to standard transcription equipment to accommodate different recording media sources (CD, Video, MP3, MP4, and Wave),
- To ensure complete destruction of all waste product, notes, scrap paper, etc.
- maintain an electronic database with a back-up system of all transcriptions and documents produced for a period of six months from the project completion date,
- Must be able to pass a law enforcement, background check, demonstrate credit worthiness, be of good moral character, and not affiliated with defendants
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than December 3, 2020.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
